His quick-wit was second to none. I still watch YouTube videos of his appearances on late night shows. The one with Denzel Washington is my favorite.

I thought that no talent, hack, who made a career outta sucking up to Frank Sinatra, died 30 years ago...

    May he RIP.

I love Kevin Pollack's bit about Rickles on the set of Goodfellas.

    RIP, dummy!

I heard that bit, and it was actually on the set of Casino.
I'm a big Kevin Pollack fan, too, but Don Rickles will forever be a giant of comedy.
Let us not forget that he also enlisted, not content to wait to be drafted, in and served in the Navy in WWII.
He was also married over 50 years, and everyone who knew him loved him.
There will never be another like him, a pioneer in comedy when early in his career he turned the tables on some hecklers, winning over the crowd and making that into an entire long and storied career.
I'd give him a tribute in the Rickles manner of throwing insults, but ghuns eloquently already has that covered, so this one will just be played straight.
    RIP, Don; a great American.

Knew a guy who saw one of his shows in Las Vegas. Says he was making fun of a guy in a wheel chair and he was turned off by it. Never heard about that type behavior from Rickles anywhere else but the guy who told me is 100% credible. FWIW

    Personally, I enjoyed his humor.

This contains the infamous broken cigarette box with Carson.
