Update: I have talked to maybe 8 attorneys about buying AR-15s within the past month. Even though these are individuals with more flow than average, all have asked me, after I give them to top 3 or 5 to look at, "what's the best deal."
Regardless of one's SES, I am convinced that bang for buck trumps quality.
I think the best criteria for whether an AR is a "good deal" is the presence of a forward assist.
