That Four-Corners area of New Mexico demonstrated how the New Mexico Gun Grabbers are scofflaws that believe gun laws don't apply to them because they hold the moral anti-gun high ground, and their ends justify the means, even if illegal. I'd call that one a win for "Gun Buyback" programs -- demonstrating their stupidity.

Useless GBB programs are only here because the people will not get behind solving nefarious gun use in America.

We know Gun Control won’t do it and we also know we will not fund any answers to the problem.

Everyone has their ideas but no one can get it funded. Just like immigration, education and health we put our money instead into Wall Street and waste it in government.

Sonny and Cher sang it best….

    This makes no sense.

Participants were given gas gift cards for turning in guns. The amounts were as follows.

    • $25 for a non-functioning firearm
    • $100 for a shotgun or rifle
    • $150 for a revolver or semi-automatic handgun
    • $200 for a semi-automatic rifle

The highest payout going to the implement least likely to be used in crime by FBI stats seems illogical even for those that know nothing of guns…

For starters, they`re not "buy-backs". Government never owned them in the first damned place. And does anyone really think that the thugs sell off anything they intend to use to loot and pillage with?

It is just stupid virtue signaling.

Want to end "gun/knife violence?" Simple. Put people who commit crimes in prison until they are too old to reoffend. Problem solved. You ever hear someone say, "I wouldn't do that if I were you?" Make that CRYSTAL CLEAR - as in, you do that, we won't be seeing you again until you are eating dinner through a straw and are wearing Depends.
