Three scholarship candidates are scouting cars to steal in a residential neighborhood. Father and son confront them, the candidates jump in their own car and flee. Just for good measure one of the candidates fires two rounds presumably at father & son but instead shooting the candidates’ getaway driver in the neck.

Guess it wasn’t too bad because the driver ended up in juvenile detention shortly there after.

Long running feud between families. One family runs its property as a unlicensed entertainment venue, renting out for parties and concerts, pissing off the rest of the neighborhood, especially the family next door. Noise, drunkeness, speeding in streets, city ignores complaints, party-family-husband threatens neighbors over complaints.

One night next-door neighbor complains to party neighbor about speeding by partygoers. A little while later party neighbor drives a frontend loader with four 55gal drums of fuel in the bucket over the vehicles in driveway and into front of nextdoor neighbor’s house. Party neighbor dismounts with unregistered (this is Hawaii) and shoots five people, killing three, and also shoots fuel barrels which did not ignite.

Nextdoor neighbor gets his registered (this is Hawaii) handgun, which he bought specifically because of part neighbor’s threats, and kills party neighbor.

Cops arrest nextdoor neighbor on suspicion of 2nd degree murder, hold him in jail for a day. Prosecutor eventually declines to charge, citing self-defense.

16 yo City of Brotherly Love denizen and his buddy decide to spread some joy one night by approaching a 21yo on the street, pointing a replica pistol at him, and trying robbing him.

The 21yo, licensed to carry, reciprocated love and joy by pulling his real 9mm and shooting 3X. 16yo went down with a non-fatal leg wound and his buddy scarpered.
