    Well at least this is a logical argument, using a country in the southern hemisphere is a little screwed up, that's a apple to oranges thing.
    How did I use "a county in the southern hemisphere"? Las t I checked, Indianapolis and Nashville were in the Northern Hemisphere.

    In Iceland they don't save daylight. They use it all up in the summer with the midnight softball/not dark for 3 weeks and there is none left for the winter when the sun comes up at 1030 and it's dark again by supper.

    Iceland is REALLY far north? Never mind.

    Getting up one hour earlier to take full advantage of sunlight is worthy of a Big Red comment.

    This is all the fault of the central state.

    If I did my calculations correctly, "celestial noon" in central Indiana is ~ 2:00 pm EDT today. What does that tell you about Indiana's placement in the Eastern TZ?
