RamZs in Lafayette ... also have a used Sightmark Wolfhound 3x24 for $189. Optics Planet has them on sale for just $10 more - I've been contemplating this morning about asking them to drop their requested price on it a bit.
Lowest I could get them was $150+ tax.

Afternoon, Everyone. Just finished a late lunch.

Spent my entire day in the shop. At the bench.
Had AllenM do the disco cuts to the slides on these 3 1911's. They are the only ones I am not doing a lot to. Bolt on's and shimmer and shine on the internals but nothing crazy. The D-cut allows the slide to run free and clear as it engages the disconnector. It is basically a small ramp machined into the slide.

    The cut
The pistol is my Standard. Blue finish,. Beautiful gun. It has a few extras.

These 2 also got the disco cut.
They are pretty much bone stock as bought. Tat is a bit of an anomaly for me but these 2 are stellar units as built. I did do the custom grip thing. CKW picks out all my grips. She has been dressing me for 40 odd years so why not. I think she does a fair job of it.

Night hawk and the Valor. Love them both.

There are 2 more in the "Q" to come across the bench. The steel gun slide is done and being picked up tomorrow.
Then I wait on the stainless machine work. That one will take some time.

    I have 2 AR's in parts also.
    +Lots of bench time = a happy mouse !-

Are the disco cuts similar to the Marvel cut? It sounds similar.

Mosin Crate has a bunch of Israel import Mossad marked CZ75 compacts. I am trying hard to be good, and not get out the credit card tomorrow and buy one.

    I am so very tempted.

Disco cuts were created in the late 1970s, where as the Marvel Cut was created in 1939. Though Marvel did dable in Disco with Dazzler in the 1970s..

Wait, what are we talking about?
