With a lot of help from CM and AllenM; a Springfield Range Officer sports a brand new look. Rollmarks gone, bevel cut, French border, top strap treatment, front strap checkering, fresh finish, Stan Chen Magwell and Zips Grips.

Trigger slicked up by mcapo....take that for what it is worth....but the other work is quite nice.

Once a rifle is sighted in, a good range trip is about 5 rounds of centerfire now days.

I figure that when shooting for groups, I can probably be satisfied with 40 rounds per range trip, especially if I'm using ammo the gun shoots well with. For general plinking, probably 20 rounds would be fine. Considering I'll probably always bring one of my .22 bolt action rifles along as well, that should work out fine.

I spent an entire day with my coworker in the same truck cab while he had it... He didn’t show symptoms till that night. He’s been off all week now. I never had anything wrong... tests all came back negative.
Were you driving around or just hanging out? :)

In gun talk: I ordered one of those fancy Magpul PRS adjustable AR rifle stocks today.
They're usually closer to $240, but Primary Arms had them on sale for $205, which is the best I've seen in the last few months.

It'll be for my .308 AR rifle that I've been accumulating parts for .... maybe I'll get it built sometime in 2021. I have most of the parts now ...... Aero Precision upper and lower, Ballistic Advantage 18" barrel with a pre-pinned gas block, NIB BCG.
I think that the only things left to obtain are a handguard, pistol grip, buffer tube, and maybe a few smaller items.

    Pretty much Michigan.
Got my slide back, Allen did an awesome job as expected. 4452270D-FA75-4B4A-9F34-2263C216FFBF.jpeg6D46DB42-401A-4EEC-8602-299F4BF40C20.jpegThe front serrations are a must imo. Functionality wise they are freakin awesome. Need to cut my venom in lower for it to work with the tall sights though which is a bummer. Also want to find some grip tape to match the slide.
