As anticipated, mixed bag of emotions today. My friend is doing awesome and has drastically improved since I last saw him over a year ago. Very uplifting. His wife and I spent ALOT of time sorting through her new collection and deciding what she wanted to keep. I have a lot of work ahead of me to go thru what I brought home and sell for her, but it will be rewarding and she was happy to make the purge.

I managed to make it to a gun store today to grab a couple more boxes of .22 short sub sonics. Hope to shoot those a lot as the weather gets a little warmer through the Ruger Wrangler. I haven’t shot that gun near enough yet, but the action is sooooooo smooth thanks to my need to fidget with something. :lmfao:

Anyone know anything about a S&W 3000 shotgun in 12 gauge? Has a long field barrel, nice wood stock and in great condition. Trying to get an idea what it might be worth. It was one that our friend wants to keep for now, but I can't find much info for her on it.

    Looks something like this:

    Whatch wanna know? It’s a shotgun. ;-)

Decent guns. Made by Howa for SW. Nothing fancy. I think after SW, Howa made the gun for Mossberg (??). Ask google. Don’t recall. Too tired to look. ;-)

    Probably $250 to $350 tops??

They were made for S&W by Howa in Japan. Dont know current values, but were kinda a budget 870, if that helps any.

Thanks on the S&W shotgun, I passed that along. Basically just wanted to know if it was anything special or not.

When you get a minute to see what you have let me know and I will most likely take those.

I’ve been thinking the same, but that would require adding another caliber or trying to buy ammo for en existing caliber... So I’ll just settle with playing with a .22 bolt gun. If you don’t have one, I’d start there. Great fun.

I second this. Plus the ammo is a lot less expensive, when you can find it anyway.
