So, I picked up a CZ-75BD from another INGOer in a trade. Love the gun, smooth action, great accuracy, crappy plastic grips.
I bought some Hogue wraparound grips and a CZ custom shop red dot mount, and this weekend got an early birthday gift of a C-More STS.
Assembly time.
Now, Dad has a sight pusher and has taken measurements with a micrometer and is going to make a block so his "universal" sight pusher will work on the CZ.
Here is the question;
I can't wait, I want to get out with this thing as soon as possible and its gonna be a couple of weeks till I see Dad again.
CZ custom shop says that the rear sights can be drifted/removed with a 3/8" punch. It makes me nervous but I can go get a punch for a couple of bucks and have it done this afternoon, provided I don't screw it up and damage the dovetail or slide.
Has anyone done this specifically with a CZ-75? am I over thinking it?
