Were your ears burning?
That is nice Hopper, I like that one too.
Birds- I was just checking a P-09 out at the store about an hour ago. I need to find a place that has the P-09 and the P07 in stock so I can compare them. I plan to get a P-01 too, maybe an omega after seeing Hopper's above. I held a phantom last week at a shop. How do they shoot? One can never have enough cz's in my opinion. I can't wait to see the dwx cz-wesson combination in person. I am tempted top just get on an order list without seeing it. I am sure if I did not like it I could sell it for little to no loss.
Anybody here happen to go to shot-show and see them in person?
As long as the Wizard is around there are no serious CZ issues. No serious CZ issues here this morning.
Carry on.
Truth !As long as the Wizard is around there are no serious CZ issues.
I like the single set set triggers & own many 453s, 527s, 550s, a pair of NIB cold war 75s, just bought 2 P10Cs for $319ea OTD with 10 rd mags which you drill out the dimples, clip the mag spring & they are 15 rds. I think I own every full stock they made with the single set trigger & a pair of BRNO Mod 4s. But I'm going to thin the herd by a bunch. I even have 7 455 Shamrock 3 barrel sets with the green stocks made to commemoriare the 100th aniv of the Irish Easter uprising of 1916.

Is that from the tip of the beavertail digging in? If so may just be a matter of size vs size of your hand. I have not had that particular experience before myself. I know my P-10 gives me issues I was describing earlier. Just the size in relation to my hand and an old injury. I had to buy a Shadow 2 to fix it.
Flylo, I too enjoy several CZ rifles with the set trigger. One of my latest, a 453 in 17 HMR, is simply amazing, but I actually shoot better groups in standard-trigger mode - I don't understand why.
What are the major difference between CZ shadow 1 and CZ Shadow 2? Anyone?

I remember feeling the same way about warranties when this was being discussed over a year ago, but my fears were allayed after owning "a few" CZs & finding out there are plenty of guys here that know "the answer" to anything CZ.
When I bought my 4th CZ, a used but not shot Rami jamming some (new round not going into the chamber fully) and I had never had that happen with any gun, and was really panicked about it.
But there were others in the CZ thread who were there for me & very helpful.
In my case, I "assumed" a new gun came from the factory ready to go to the range.
I now know better.
It was a simple thing that CZs like to run wet (at least the metal ones), and just needed proper lubrication.
Embarrassing, actually, & I'm sure they were laughing at me, deservedly, but I was very inexperienced at the time & it freaked me out.
Now, I just pm someone if I'm having an issue with a gun (never a CZ), and go about replacing a firing pin, an extractor, spring or whatever.
If they can't fix it, I know a gunsmith that lives close that used to have a private shop, but now works from his garage.
Once, I bought a used Ruger SP101 from an old longtime member here & took it to the range & the cylinder wouldn't cycle at all.
I think he'd bought it from a friend to help him out & never fired it. He didn't know.
I took it to ZR Tactical in Noblesville, and they said I had to send it back to Ruger.
Ruger sent me a new gun.
Now, that's a warranty!!!
After thinking it through and CM bringing sense to the thought process the main concern was a lemon. However, you would figure that out on the 1st range visit or close to it.
Ruger has great customer service I've never had a problem with them.
I'm now torn between the P10F and the P09. I have the money for one so I need some opinions on which one you all would buy if you had to choose just one.
