I have a nice 2005 Toshiba 24AF45 flat-tube CRT that I am using for my old game consoles and it has a minor pincushion issue (3-4 pixels) in the top right 1/2 of the screen.

It is present with all the consoles and very noticeable, so I'd like to get it resolved as the TV has many more years left in it.

    Who still works on CRTs?

Sony Trinitron is the only way to properly play console games. :). I wouldn't let my wife get rid of hers, she didn't understand why. Now I have a basement and it feels like the old Nintendo days.

I'm trying to determine if I have room for the one happygunner has offered, but it would be a very tight fit in such a small room.

The 24" I have now is a perfect fit for the console cabinet.

I have repaired several CRT monitors in my arcade games, usually a $15 cap kit and about an hour time with a solder sucker and soldering Iron fixes most issues. You may have to decase the TV and read the values on each cap and order what you need (arcade monitor cap kits come pre-packaged with the correct caps).
It really is a pretty simple process to recap a monitor just remember to discharge the tube otherwise you will get a really bad (and sometimes deadly) shock.
Search YouTube videos about doing “arcade cap kits” to see how easy it is
