I remember the jawbone story. First heard it in Alabama.

Retired guy, loved to skeet shoot, cleaning gun watching news in his living room in Fort Wayne. Burglar broke in. Burglar caught #8 Winchester to face. Burglar lived, several surgeries.

Clint was on business at hospital months later and saw the former burglar in recovery room. Burglar reported he had given up breaking into houses.
