Need to lean into the run game while AR finds his wings
Will he find them? I was on the bandwagon at first. Caleb Williams is clearly better and he ain’t that great.

And to be fair, (although AR threw some really sucky passes this past week) the receivers have to catch the ball when it is on target. There have been a lot of dropped or missed catches this season too.At first? He’s still the youngest starter in the league and he’s only played like 7 games lol
At minimum he needs all of this year and all of next year before we think about throwing in the towel.

True enough, but he was brought in because of his "awesome arm" was he not? Throwing it far is not the same as throwing it accurately. That 65 yarder he threw was a thing of beauty, but we still lost. Sailing these little "gimme" short passes is not okay.Obviously there’s no sugar coating that some of the throws on Sunday were just objectively bad throws.
BUT…
The bad throws were the right reads. He’s seeing the field correctly. That’s not nothing. It’s not like he’s getting totally fooled by a sneaky coverage and throwing to defenders that he doesn’t see.

He can throw in stride from long distance, and miss by a yard from 10. I dunno. Maybe every throw should be long distance.
There’s a lot on the receiver. Both QB and receiver need to be on the same page. So what you’re saying if you were a hater, is kinda true. Timing and distance matter a lot. So does that 1 or 2 yard accuracy window on a 10 yard throw scale to 50+ yards? Doesn’t seem so.If I were a hater, I would say that he’s inaccurate in all of his throws. The receivers just have more time to adjust to the ball on his long bombs so they “look” accurate.
If I were a hater
With the epic collapse last season, the wonderful start this season and the fact that the owner was counting on a winning team, I'd bet on Pederson.Anyone want to predict the first NFL coach fired in the 2024 season? My pick is McCarthy. Jones has done it before and would do it again…
Short list is:
Zac Taylor, Cincinnati Bengals
Nick Sirianni, Philadelphia Eagles
Brian Daboll, New York Giants
Matt Eberflus, Chicago Bears
Mike McCarthy, Dallas Cowboys
Doug Pederson, Jacksonville Jaguars
I am beginning to believe the problem in Jax is Lawrence. It takes a head in the right place to be a winner in the NFL. The best arm I ever saw in the NFL was attached to the head of Jeff George. His head could not lead a team, a selfish a*****e.With the epic collapse last season, the wonderful start this season and the fact that the owner was counting on a winning team, I'd bet on Pederson.
I graduated from Ben Davis the same year George was a senior at Warren. From the guys I knew on the team, George was a p***k on and off the field. Didn't really surprise when he flamed out of the NFL.I am beginning to believe the problem in Jax is Lawrence. It takes a head in the right place to be a winner in the NFL. Lawrence lacks the passion to lead the team. He is really talented but doesn’t display the fire other leading QB’s show. He is way too laid back…
"We just want to make sure Patrick makes it home and into bed safe and sound," said NFL referee Shawn Hochuli. "Any allegations that we're showing him special treatment simply aren't grounded in reality. The NFL makes it a priority to keep all players safe and maintain a fair and impartial playing field for each team. That's our focus, which is why we escorted Patrick home for the night for protection, made sure he had a full tummy before bed, tucked him nice and snug, and read him Courduroy before he went to sleep for the night. It just shows how committed we are to player safety. And we love Patrick Mahomes as though he was our own son."
But he has such pretty hair!Lawrence lacks the passion to lead the team. He is really talented but doesn’t display the fire other leading QB’s show. He is way too laid back…
Was it Rush Limbaugh that called him “the Breck Girl”?But he has such pretty hair!
