Tonight we saw the difference between a good team and a bad team.
Good teams can get their butts kicked for three and a half quarters and come back to win.
Bad teams can dominate 80% of the game and find a way to lose.
Other than some stand ins on D, they were equally as good until they got too tiredWentz was 25/35 for 402yds and 2 TD’s and a 128.5 passer rating and we lost. Unreal.
Hard to win when you are nearly flat footed and suckin wind while the other team looks like they are headed for half time
But in all fairness the kickers blew it! The lineman that let the kick get blocked blew it!
Plenty of blame to go way beyond the depleted D...
I think at the professional level it should be up to the player to see that he is in shape.Ok playing devils advocate for a minute. I agree full contact practice puts players at risk for injury. But, are softer practices at least partly to blame for everyone being so gassed and on their heels for almost the whole 4th Q? Maybe to some degree
Lest we forget 2 missed field goals. When playing a quality team a missed extra point is costly. The game would have been over in regulation if not for that.

One missed maybe because of Blankenship hip injury. And one blocked. He made the effort so can't really fault himSeriously one missed PAT away from beating the Ravens in Baltimore and completely changing the narrative about the season. I can’t even process how crappy this is.
No fault. He was on a roll until tonight. One missed maybe because of Blankenship hip injury. And one blocked. He made the effort so can't really fault him

Our Offense didn't capitalize in any way other than running down the clock in the 4th.No fault. He was on a roll until tonight.
damnit
OuchWe just keep improving our draft picks, oops, the Eagles draft pick...
Yes, the mindset went from "let's win this game " to "OMG let's don't lose this game".Our Offense didn't capitalize in any way other than running down the clock in the 4th.
Regardless they shouldn't have been in a position where it was relying on the kicker to win it.
Win the division? That's a pretty lofty goal manSo now we really have zero margin for error the rest of the season.
We have three really good teams left to play (Arizona, Tampa, and Buffalo)
The other nine are average or bad.
Have to go 9-3 minimum to have a shot at the division. Tennessee isn’t running away with it, they just lost to the freakin Jets.
