We've got to keep in mind that a lot of those guys hadn't played or practiced with each other for awhile, so I can see some of that factoring in. Might have been better going with the lineup that we had while the key players were out for this game. Then get another week of practice under their belts for next week.

It was truly unfortunate timing for the Colts, the passing of Madden. I never suspected the current Raiders players would be so emotional about it. Man, we’re the Raiders players fired up in the first half. If not for that emotion I think the Colts would have prevailed. Some said the Colts looked flat, but that was just in contrast to the unsustainable emotional level LV came out of the locker room with.

WTF? As the announcers said last night there are three teams on the field for every game. Why is the NFL sending 70 year olds, overweight, or otherwise compromised individuals to officiate games played at lightning speed by incredibly strong and fast athletes? Not saying they need to be 20 year old either, but 70 and still chasing some of the fastest people on the planet? Two went down yesterday and their games had to be officiated with one less set of eyes…
