Good to get all this stuff out and in the open.

Our president is smarter than he is given credit for.

If the thing that's happening was planned. That this is the desired outcome. Maybe he is smarter. But then that makes him an even nastier douchebag for orchestrating what this is turning into. **** him. I'm joining neither tribe.

This was a stroke of brilliance from President Trump?
    Or a hugggh mistake?

NFL is already hurting financially in some markets could put them futher down or pull them up?

Will it end the "kneel in"'?

The President just solidified support for the players' actions. The media was generally but cautiously supportive of the players up to this point. Now they will be screaming their support and anyone who doesn't join in is, the usual, racist, xenophobic, fascist, etc., etc. The huge mass of people who can't think for themselves and tune in to CNN to determine what they should think about a given issue will naturally fall in line.

A possible indicator of delusion is attributing to genius that which is better explained by accidentally producing a better outcome. But the better outcome would be required, which is not yet evident.

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Birds Away again."

    Yet another spot on analysis.

It's so odd, he may be energizing his base, but damn he's doing a good job of energizing people that oppose his base.

What he still fails to realize is that his "base" is very small. The anti-communists, anti-socialists, anti-Hillary-ites are much, much bigger. His grasp on them is tenuous at best.
