You do realize "Cash for clunkers" that happened here removed over 680k cars from the US market? They did it with a bribe, but the result is fairly clear. Used car prices have never been higher than they have been for the last couple of years. Loads of roadworthy cars were destroyed so people could get a taxpayer payed down payment on a new car and of course banks giving those loans got to extract interest again from people who had paid for vehicles prior to it and were very happy.

That alone accounts for a huge part of the inflation in auto prices.

It was a feel good idea with very serious economic consequences.

Facts like this is all any one needs to read to know that “climate change” is but a grift. Just as when we saw Pelosi getting her hair done when everyone was supposed to be shut down or any number of politicians and celebrities wearing masks when in front of a camera and not the rest of the time we knew all the measures to “stop the spread” was a lie these people aren’t nearly as smart as they think they are…if you’re watching the walk they walk.
