Regarding the Mustang II, I will simply note it kept the "brand" alive until the next generation came along.

Ford has a strong track record of ****ty decision making when it comes to cars people can actually get enthused about.

And speaking of enthusiasm, she was a true beauty.

First my 64 Corvair before I put it back together, 1995 ish. Same timeframe, seeing what Cragers look like in my dad’s 38 master deluxe(currently being made roadworthy again). Last one is a 54 vette that my family likes to keep in rough shape for no reason at all.DB894384-843C-4F2B-8540-6B3830BC5B49.jpegC7CBBB45-F43C-42E5-9ABA-9B5229999425.jpeg

1969 Firebird 350 at the Lordstown Assembly Plant in Lordstown, Ohio. This step was called the Body-To-Chassis Marriage where the body was dropped down to the subframe and rear springs. This same process was used at the Norwood, OH plant. Notice the full-size Chevrolet just in front of the Firebird. Lordstown produced a few different models for General Motors.02B561DE-106C-4EBB-AD9B-28DFDB658052.jpeg
