    I always liked chrome reverse w/ moons. Especially if the wheels were the smoothies.
    Me too. Or just straight up steelies with dog bowl caps. You could get a steel wheel made to spec (offset/width) for cheap compared to a set of Cragers or Keystone mags. Factory dog bowls were a dime a dozen at the scrap yards. Think COPO Camaro.

    Every now and then I look around and come across one of these early mustangs....Plain Jane with a 6 banger, solid frame and body come up from time to time. Often they are considerably less than their V8 siblings.

    Dropping in a V8 and other mods would be relatively straight forward and in the end wind up with a strong performer without having an arm and leg in it.
