Wait. Is Alpo really harley rider 50?

Rode for 40+ years. Finally quit when my brother was in a serious highway accident on a Harley and I almost got rear-ended at a stop light. Too many stupid people on the roads these days. iPhones are bigger killers than Smith & Wesson.

    Shows what you know...and don't.

My first ride was a Cushman at 13. Second was a BSA 500. I've had Ducati's, Kawasakis, Bultacos, Triumphs and Harleys through the years.

He is refering to a member with a language all his own. Mainly on in the winter. He does ride but man it is tough to read his posts.

The reference was about a specific member who posts with a dialect indiucky usually has to translate. The post I quoted just reminded me a little of that dialect.

    Kinda miss Harleyrider-50....

He is in construction, so he's not around much during the good weather...

I enjoy his posts as well. Takes a long time to read and comprehend if Indiucky hasn't posted a translation yet. But I still find I understand him better if I imagine he's talking like Gobber from How to Train Your Dragon.

Man, I haven't heard the name Bultaco mentioned in many, many years.

I still feel some injury's from the ones I had and rode.........
Also Hodaka's.....pissed off little combat wombat's
Honda has made a few dents in my frame work as has Suzuki.
Yamaha's YZ's and the older MX's have left their marks as well.

Nasty sounding bikes. Good hill climbers.

That's a name I haven't heard in years. Growing up the 70s the neighbor kids were really into dirt bikes. My best friend had a Penton 125 and his brother had a Bultaco. My parents wouldn't let me have one, but I had a lot of fun riding theirs.
