Are those SU carbs on it?

Yes they are the originals. 53 was the only year I am aware of that ran weighted slides, no slide return springs. It has a hotter camshaft and springs, electronic ignition and the polarity has been reversed to a negative ground. The new owner wanted a radio.


Edit....the wire wheels are an aftermarket conversion with Michelin radials. It also has the 5 speed up grade tranny

#1826....not far to go. The challenge was 2000 by Easter.
