Should I get training then? My wife taught me CPR she's red cross certified instructor. But I don't know jack about most meds. To be honest I shy away from it as I don't like needles etc.
I recently bought the SAS survival handbook and will be reading through there.
I'm biased but IMO , EVERY , MAG , family, or whatever should have at least one trained EMT-B at a minimum . This should be supplemented with a wilderness medic course .
A person trained at this ^^ minimal level should be able to handle most MINOR emergencies or at least know when they need more advanced help .
If not then I'd make time to attend one of Redneckmedic's GSW classes at the very least .
The antibiotics are going to have to come from your pharmacist via a prescription, or directly from your doctor. If you have a family Doc that knows you and would feel comfortable, that's the best. Then there is the option of veterinary medicines that I won't go into....Evercear is as stated above plus it makes a powerful pain killer/anesthesia.Where do you get anti-biotics from? And what is the purpose of the Everclear?
Wow, I feel like I stepped WAY outside my bounds of knowledge!
