The suspect was identified as Kyle Rittenhouse of Antioch, Illinois, according to reporter Molly Beck.
Rittenhouse will be charged with first-degree intentional homicide, Beck reported.

I think the guy made a very poor judgment call in being there to begin with, but the actual incidents look like he tried to retreat first.

Well, the way it's supposed to work is, investigation/arrest, tried, judged. Not, judged in the public court of opinion.
I agree, it looks like a straight up self defense shoot. But, he was from a different state and should have turned himself in if he thinks it was justified.
US code title 32 the National Guard is under the command of the state governor. Under US code title 10 the national guard is under federal command. If you had ever hear about a dual chain of command, this is what they are talking about and it applies to national guard only.Doesn't the governor send the National Guard (ie not the president)
