I will always love Trump for the amazing things he did for America, if he is all that bad how would he have won 3 peace prizes?. Well, these are Biden's early days, in a twinkle of an eye it would be 4 years and we would see how far and well he has done.“Approval ratings” don’t mean squat to me. Biden with a +14? After the unions say they’re unhappy with his performance, many voters online are expressing their concern, and he hasn’t done much of anything. Meanwhile trump got 3 peace deals, lower taxes, booming economy.
Just more democrat/media/big tech manipulation to make their party seem better in some way.
Like giving Obama a peace prize for bombing hospitals, I’m not believing this.
You know I just bought a firearm from an FFL a couple of weeks ago, only thing I had to prove was my name and address by showing a DL. Which doesn't prove citizenship, heck some states issue a DL to those here illegally. If you buy from an FFL, you absolutely have to do those things. Have you never bought a firearm (or had one transferred through an FFL)?
What about a child born abroad with two US citizen parents? They wouldn't have a US birth certificate, and maybe not even one issued at the time of birth depending on just where they were born. Not the only way, but probably the best way by today's standards, because every US citizen by birth, now has a birth certificate.
Yes they are, see below.Actually a certificate of live birth was provided after many months of arguing, not a birth certificate. They are not the same.
Indiana doesn't have a DL they have an operator license, different name but same thing right? Some states have different names for the same thing, doesn't mean they aren't the same.A secure dl is available requiring a birth certificate or valid passport and several other forms of ID.
Hawaii has a birth certificate (long form) which is evidence of local birth and a certificate of live birth (short form) which is not--just an identity card. Even Sun Yat-sen had one when he was born in China. That is all Obama ever coughed up that was not computer generated. You know I just bought a firearm from an FFL a couple of weeks ago, only thing I had to prove was my name and address by showing a DL. Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States. Who has to be rescued from softball interview questions by his wife, because he forgot the rehearsed answer.
Seriously, you can see the point where he just runs out of steam.
I am not aware of any meds that help dementia/senility in terms of causing lucidity (although there are some that supposedly slow the progression).I'll take it from here. You just rest up a bit. You're overdue for your meds.
isn't interpreting the constitution up to the courts and doesn't the legislative branch have the ability to specify how one meets the requirements?Does the constitution enumerate those limitations? I don't recall it mentioning shouting fire in a crowded theatre. Is it possible the constitution references requirements but doesn't specify how to meet them - like saying must be a natural born citizen without specifying the need to show a birth certificate? Or like saying the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed without specifying which arms? I'm sensing a pattern, here
I have posted and made several points. I have treated those replying with respect. In fact these are some of the longest posts I have made in a while outside the religious forums. And fellas I have openly stated that this crap will come to an end when we are deep in the clutches of these discussions. It was said in the open and I ment it for "ALL" involved.
Let Foz step just a wee bit more toward that trollish line and his time here will be over. For good. Stirring crap just for the sake of stirring crap is no longer tolerated and this goes for all of you. Bot sides of the debate.
I am weary of the reports/the childish responses and behaviors.
I know its tough but come on peoples.......make your point. In the open and get ready to defend it.
No. You haven't received the response you are fishing for. That is an entirely different issue.I have posted and made several points. I have treated those replying with respect. In fact these are some of the longest posts I have made in a while outside the religious forums.
I get the one liners and memes in return.
If these posts don't meet your standards ban me.
I have specifically asked one question over and over and have yet to get a response.
So the response is to insult him as you did with post# 359? Or were you not referencing Foszoe when you posted that meme? I mean c'mon.No. You haven't received the response you are fishing for. That is an entirely different issue.
Nope, he didn’t quote anyone. He was referring to this thread in general. So the response is to insult him as you did with post# 359? Or were you not referencing Foszoe when you posted that meme? I mean c'mon.
This is exactly what I think as you try telling us that you support constitutional rights while voting against the Constitution as well as basic decency and normality. So the response is to insult him as you did with post# 359? Or were you not referencing Foszoe when you posted that meme? I mean c'mon.
It is not complicated, the candidate must prove they are eligible. Just because there were less complicated times in the past when everyone in the community knew when and where Johnny was born so the question was moot does not mean it doesn't have to be proven now.isn't interpreting the constitution up to the courts and doesn't the legislative branch have the ability to specify how one meets the requirements?
Constitution says X. X is challenged in court and some things are declared not X or in other words they are restrictions on X. If not X is to become X then an amendment is necessary.
Constitution says X. X? is challenged in court and X? is upheld and becomes part of X.
Constitution says X. Legislators pass a law stating that Y is a requirement for X to apply. Court says yes Y is in the "spirit" of the constitution and the law stands....
I am not a legal scholar nor do I claim to be, but I believe that's how it works.
If I am wrong on the first 3 points then correct me.
I want to focus on the X,Y statement.
It is not that i don't think the production of a birth certificate is a great idea (I do). It is that I don't think it has been proven that its a requirement of the constitution. That is precisely why the Republicans wanted to pass legislation to make production of the birth certificate so that one had to provide evidence that they made the requirement.
Applying the same to voting. We happen to like having restrictions instead of someone just saying I live here and I meet all the requirements to vote.
In regards to our 2A rights....isn't the fight about the same thing? We Don't want restrictions on our 2A rights based on the phrase "shall not be infringed" the other side focuses on what does militia mean etc.
That's why i framed one response in regards to the 2A.
If an officer sees me open carrying me and stops me for no other reason than he wants to find out if I am carrying legally. Should I be required to produce evidence I am not committing a crime?
The witch hunt against trump had a lot of trumped up evidence and political motivations. They couldn't make anything stick.
When it comes to the birth certificate controversy. Those challenging it couldn't come up with a coherent story. If the stories varied, then that means someone is lying. Indonesia and Kenya are two very different places.
Then when a birth certificate was produced no one believed it was real. Someone was trumping up evidence and it was all politically motivated.
The Republicans introduced a bill requiring production of a Birth Certificate what I am calling X? above.
IF it wasn't so politically motivated, then why from 2016-2018 didn't they pass legislation requiring birth certificates? If it was a constitutional crisis, they had the opportunity to introduce legislation to prevent it from happening and pass it.
Now i can't think of a single thing I agree with the national democratic party on, that doesn't mean i've spent hours perusing the site.
But that doesn't make me a fan of the National GOP either. They attempt to use every gun or social/moral issue as a crisis to whip up their base but when the rubber meets the road, they crumble. ACA is an example. I believe them to be the biggest friends of big business and if their policies helping big business help small business then they take credit for it even though it really is only collateral support.
I hope that changes because Republicans have now seen even the big businesses stab them in the back. Many are strong supporters of green energy, socialist agendas, silencing opposition etc. But all that isn't because the business itself believes in it. It's because the businesses want to maximize bottom lines, thats it.
I have digressed though.
Funny, because that's exactly what I think of most of the people who voted opposite of me.This is exactly what I think as you try telling us that you support constitutional rights while voting against the Constitution as well as basic decency and normality.
No one will ever accuse you of not being loyal to "the cause," that's for sure.Nope, he didn’t quote anyone. He was referring to this thread in general.

I’m staying out of this thread, no good is going to come of this.
Well, I hope you don't stay gone. I'm still thinking this has as much potential as the Trump Popularity thread. Not sure if that's good or bad, but that part will sort itself out. These seem exactly like the type of posts CM posted about earlier.
