Someone asked about how water proof these are above. I don't think at all. The label says "water resistant seal," so that probably means no to the submarine test.
But in a dry room with the dry bead packs I should be good for a while.
Got it in today going to find a dry brick put some paper towels in it tie a rope to it and toss it into my creek for 24 hours. Will get back to you on how it does.

Brick in place wrapped in paper towels and paper towels stuffed around it.
Didn't last 30 seconds.
Total failure.
It floated and the side the brick was on submerged. Half the lid was submerged only.
I would not recommend these to keep water out unless you improve the seal maybe by putting a bead of 100% silicone around it let it totally dry it may improve. As is do not trust it. It allows water in it will allow moisture in as well.
