How about a real old one. My wife's father (deceased) had brought back a Beretta 1934 from Italy in WW2. Due to circumstances beyond her control the gun was taken and sold by her sister (long sad story). Anyhow, she told me she would really like to have one - I attended a gun show about a week later and found one reasonable at a dealer. Picked it up brought it home and she was delighted. I personally carry a 45 ACP but we took the Beretta out to a friends and fired it several times - pretty accurate, built like a tank and functioned like a brand new gun. It is heavy and big for a .380 but it will digest any ammo you can reload or buy without a problem. (I also bought her a 38 SPL Derringer to carry.) Sure hard to beat a 70 year old gun that works better than most made today!
