Dec 25, 2013 #9 OWGEM Expert Rating - 100% 1 0 0 Apr 9, 2010 974 18 Columbus, IN Thanks everyone. I was using a Canon 7D + 500mm f4 lens shooting from my car. The owl was about 30 yards off. edit: I have found one can approach wildlife closer in a car than on foot. If I had been on foot at that distance the owl would have flown right away.
