Yes I've seen a woobie. Use one regularly as part of warmer weather kits. Have a nice bedroll project using one. It's a modern type with upgraded features (zippers, grommets, etc.) over the issued version. Huncho brand if memory serves.
I typically use a 9' x 9' tarp for shelter, in a myriad of configurations. The aim this trip is continuity since it's a thru-hike. No tinkering.
