4 year old starter went out on my truck... It happens. Bad it just happened after I just changed the batteries a week ago. Never a good time. I go to take it back and the girl said no problem and swapped it out. I asked if I get a new receipt and she said no. Their policy is one exchange only. I said Lifetime warrantee? She said limited lifetime. Only one exchange. I said when did that happen? She said years ago. I turned to walk away and said same on alternators and brakes?? She said yep, only one exchange. Anyone else hear of this change?? Or is she full of.

If it is true, Other part stores should be following.

    Years ago?

Last year or the year before I did brakes on the car, pads have lifetime - according to the person at the counter.

Anymore most of the car parts I buy have been off amazon.
