Auto Ordnance M1 Carbine Opinions?

I always wanted a M1 Carbine after seeing one in Band Of Brothers. The originals are always priced very high so I was looking at an Auto Ordnance replica. I saw a couple at the Lafayette show in April and am hoping the same guy comes back and has them again. Anyone ever shot one of these?

The CMP has a lot of very nice carbines in stock starting around $500. It is very easy to qualify to purchase one from them.
