So I just got a 1933 mosin nagant with a hex receiver. I do alot of coyote and hog hunting just wanted to know if anyone on here has one and how well they work. Really want to put a night vision scope on it since I hunt at night

At what ranges do you want the night vision to work? Night vision that works at coyote hunting ranges is not cheap.

We can get em in about 50 feet with knight and hale calls but found a infrared scope to

If your only shooting 50 feet gen 1 night vision should be fine. I had a Gen 3 that was 2800 bucks and I was not happy with it. I could shoot about 200-250 yards with it
