Just did my part. President Trump, Sen. Braun, Sen. Young. District 1 Rep Visclosky has always been a lost cause when if comes to the 2nd Amendment. He's not running for re-election anyway.
More than likely. This area has always been a Democrat stronghold.I'm sure another anti with a D after their name will get voted in up there.

Dear Mr. Monkey:
My heart breaks for the victims, their loved ones, and all Americans whose lives have been impacted by mass shootings. They are happening in our schools, our neighborhoods, places of worship, shopping centers, movie theaters and more. Nobody is safe from this threat and we can all agree that Americans are truly living in fear. This is not only a crisis of public safety, but a moral crisis as well. We must do more and turn our thoughts and prayers into action.
All Americans – both gun owners and non-gun owners alike – want to keep our communities safe. As a former law enforcement officer, I respect the constitutionally guaranteed right of Americans to bear arms and believe that it should be protected. Most American gun owners are responsible people who follow all necessary safety precautions and use them only as tools for protection or recreation. However, the United States has an unacceptably high level of gun violence. I believe that smart and effective restrictions must be enacted to protect both the public and the Second Amendment rights of all Americans.
The Senate must take action on the bipartisan gun violence prevention bills that the House has passed and sent over. I cosponsored this legislation and voted for it because it would improve our current system of background checks to help prevent violent felons and those with severe mental illness from easily purchasing guns. It also would eliminate loopholes that allow unlicensed dealers to sell guns without a background check. A strong background check system helps identify those who are prohibited from buying firearms. The main objective is to prevent guns from getting in the hands of dangerous individuals who may want to harm themselves or others. The solution to recent tragedies is not to expand unfettered access or divert the accountability of gun ownership so that more guns can find their way to criminals and other high risk groups. Rather, we should work together to close loopholes and make the background check system more efficient in order to reduce the amount of guns on the streets that could be obtained illegally. This would better protect our citizens and our law enforcement community. Please know that making sure every voice in my district is heard is the most important part of my job. I'm listening, and I will keep your views in mind as Congress works to find consensus on common-sense solutions to improve gun safety and hopefully prevent more gun violence to our communities.
I appreciate hearing your thoughts on this important issue and I hope you will continue to contact my office on future issues. Just going to leave this here:
The ATF has yet to specifically clarify what constitutes as an “AR styled pistol” besides taking the approach of “you know it when you see it.” I believe the ATF must clearly and distinctly articulate their position, and inform the public of said stances and regulations. A “know it when you see it” approach to firearms by the ATF is ambiguous and can quickly become a slippery-slope for all legal gun owners.
I still wonder if this is fanning flames that we do not need to fan at this time?
Are we giving a new anti-gun administration things to aim at that they might not otherwise know even exists?
We ask the ATF to clarify, they coordinate with our incoming VP, then they reply with "braced pistols ARE SBR's..." Grrrr....
You're kidding yourself if you don't think folks coming in with Biden know about braces. They are simply dusting off what they already had in the drawer for Hillary before Trump spoiled things. They see brace bans as an easy way to get the gun restrictions rolling and they have for years.

I got the same email.
I'm just glad I have nothing pending in NFA jail at the moment. Everything *was* home safe and sound with me...until that stupid boating accident.
