Armed Dynamics will be teaching Defensive Pistol I on June 8 and Defensive Shotgun on June 9 in Roanoke, IN.

Hey Jeff,

What type of shotgun do you recommend for this? I'm guessing probably not the Biden special. Does it matter if it is pump or semi?

In our most recent class, we had pump guns from Remington, Mossberg, Winchester and even a semi-auto Beretta. Everything from dooberized tactical shotguns to something that looked like your granddaddy's trap gun. All of them performed, more or less. Bring whatever you've got, you'll quickly learn its strengths and weaknesses.

Also - are there any plans to run the Pistol II class this year?

Not as of now, but if you can get enough people together who want to take it, that might be a possibility. As it is a fairly high round count course that has a prerequisite, we weren't sure that we would have the ability to fill a class.

6. 350 Birdshot

7. 25 Buckshot

8. 25 Slugs

9. 150 rounds pistol ammo

Also, the round count for Defensive Pistol 1 is 700.
