I know Rock River was not the subject of this thread. But, I just received my new RRA chrome moly (not chrome lined) and it comes with a card that states the following. Is this common? I was a bit surprised to say the least.

Interesting. My RR did not have this with it.
The deal on reloads exempts them from failure or injury due to any mad science someone uses in reloading.

    negative on the break-in.

i use a boresnake usually; i'm not that anal about cleaning my ARs. Every once in a while I use the GI cleaning kit.

Whatever you do, avoid those, if you are at all concerned with accuracy. The soft aluminum of the rod can pick up and embed particles that can damage the bore, and the uneven segment joints can damage the crown. Use a quality 1-piece rod.

That said, if it is strictly a battle rifle/range blaster, have fun. =)

I have never broken in a barrel. I have never owned a rifle that was for competition though. I do have some rifles that shoot under an inch at 100 that i never broke in though. I guess that is good enough for me. To be honest i couldnt hold a 2 " group with anything i have at 300 yards because i cant shoot that good, and i get intimidated at anything over 200.
The guns we are debating are semi-auto battle rifles. AR-15's and M-4's. They were designed to spray

    Only accurate rifles are interesting.
