oh gotcha yeah thats the point im making, you can buy a thing that several others have vs one no one has for the same cost. if i had the scratch to spend itd depend on my mood at the time, build something or buy something.

Im glad to see some other Factory Five fans around here. My goal is to build a '33 with a Roush 427 and a 5 speed. The only problem is my wife... she likes the Cobra better.

Honestly... I'm torn. I really want both.

Only kit car I would build...

....the kit is 20k, plus you'll have to invest another 10-20k for the needed parts. Uses a vette motor...

The car the OP shows is a Ferrari P4 "replica" not a kit car. It shows up at Cars & Coffee Saturday mornings on the North side of Indy. I have a better pic here:

i few years back i knew of a guy who stuffed a blown LT4 into a 240z. there's a gutted Z car down the street.. i keep thinking about it...

Why waste your time with a LT anything? The LS series outperform the LT series by a longshot and do it on pump gas! Not too mention on the LS series the distributor ignition is a thing of the past. You can get them cheap out of salvage cars/trucks.
