anyone heard of richard marks?

i met a guy at the range and he told me that richard marks is to 1911's as the swiss are to watches. any one ever had him work on one of your 1911's before? thoughts?

Wasn't he a singer in the 80's? And by singer, I mean the un-talented, how the hell did that guy ever get a record deal type singer.

Don't have a 1911 but he does all my smith work that I can't and he does a great job. Stands by his work and a super nice guy too.

Oh sorry, I thought you got Dick Marks mixed up with Peter Dragon.

I use him all the time for stuff we can not do at the shop. His work is great but do not be in a hurry or you will get it back the way you take it. I would recommend him to all.

Seriously, there really was a guy named Richard Marks/Marx back in the 80's, I wasn't being a smart-***, that's just the only one I've heard of (unfortunately).
