I might try that if the grip doesnt want to come off. It has before it just likes to be difficult and i'm worried about damage to the edges of the grip. It looks like the last time i removed them the upper edge on the left panel by the thumb safety got a little squished from removal.Plastic Automotive Pry tool ?
Would love too if i had some.Try compressed air.
Or wedge down the edge of a popsicle stick. Wood is forgiving against steel.Plastic Automotive Pry tool ?
Maybe trim a flat piece of wood, plastic, or metal that would mostly fill the side hole of the grip frame. Then insert fingers from the bottom and the slide area and push. This might spread the force over a larger area, rather than concentrate it as a single finger would. That might prevent splitting. The last $75 set broke in half doing that
That's just silly. Tannerite doesn't give you enough precision. Try a plasma cutter.Tannerite?
By frame stud are you referring to the frame's grip screw escutcheons? They looked to be free of any rust or crud the last time I looked at them.Once it's off, I would take steel wool to the frame stud.
Off hand no I don't sadly.Have any wooden shims? Like you use to shim a door or window.
