I think the term is "artillery hold", not infantry hold. This is per Tom Gaylord, airgun writer, and guru.
I bought a Hatsan 95 in .177 cal. I liked it so well I bought another in .25 cal. It's a very nice air rifle made from german steel, and with a walnut stock. At its price point, having a walnut stock is unheard of.
Since shooting is so expensive now, I figured I could maintain my shooting skills without breaking the bank. It's worked pretty well so far.
