Maybe it's just attorneys they want to keep tabs on.Was just in there 2 days ago. No registration. I go there several times a month.
It's Kirk Freeman, I am sure Tippecanoe county has sent his picture out to anyone they can as public enemy #1Maybe it's just attorneys they want to keep tabs on.
I can appreciate the position, but oppose it on principle.
That is what Dick's used to do. I showed my ID st Dicks to buy a couple of flats of shot shells. The clerk started populating a digital form. I demanded she stop and get a manager. I believe they were "registering" me. After some tense words he agreed this grey bearded man was over 21 and took my cash.Wanted my DL so they could create a database of what I purchased. I did buy a few mags instead.
I laughed at "it's our policy" b.s. and bought what I needed at Four Guns in Lafayette when I got back.
Back about 1975 or 1980, I think all shops did that bound book entry. I was living in Illinois at the time and I thought it was because I was from out of state, even though I had a valid FOID from Illinois. Seemed like a lot of bother for a 79 cent box of .22 wildcatsWhen I was growing up in Indy there was an “Ammo Book” that had to be signed for the purchase of ammo. My older brother had to sign for me until I turned 18.
Is, or was, Indy Arms a sponsor for Guy Relford? Can’t remember.
yep, it changed. I had not been in 20 years, and I tried to go recently. never again.Broad Ripple is full of bangers?!? Granted, I haven't lived there in 20+ years but back in my day Broad Ripple was the artsy-fartsy district and all the bangers were west of the children's museum and on out to 38th & 465.
Would be interesting to find out the real reason for their bs.

Indy Arms does have its challenges for setting up where it is. Its close to where the gangbanger's girls can get to to straw purchase, no lie there.. but they have a good range and due a TON of Business, their stock does turn over a ton, and anything weird that comes in is put up for sale. The parking lot is FULL most times on the weekend.
I would normally never buy ammo there, the only reason I did.. is a couple boxes of 50 round stingers won't break the bank, even if they are over priced. Otherwise their ammo is completely OVERPRICED there..
Go there, to check their constantly turning over stock for weird stuff that comes in. Don't go there for ammo. or.. really the range, the Range is far far busy to try and use.
Never had a problem there before with that, very odd, shop there all the time myself.
Did you buy ammo? Was just in there 2 days ago. No registration. I go there several times a month.
AGES ago, I think the numerous complaints on INGO about Mark's previous employer not accepting Indiana ID cards as a form of official ID for firearms purchases lead to that establishment changing their position.Mark was the manager at IA after leaving Bradis, and hopefully still is. He’s a good dude and I’m betting if there’s an ID situation, it’s an ownership decision, not management.
Don’t shoot the messengers but I’m sure the owners have email addresses.
They probably already have your data if you shoot there…If you can go through the week it's much better than on the weekend. The range is smaller than places like Point Blank, but I like going there better than going to Point Blank personally. On weekdays from 10 - 2 they have a lunch special where they only charge $10 for an hour of range time. I go pretty much every Monday and have for the last year. I really enjoy the place but no, I won't buy my ammo there. While I haven't run into the problem Kirk did, they charge around double what you can buy ammo for pretty much anywhere else.
