Got my monthly Brownell's news letter and the lead story was the inability of the factories to keep up with the demand for .223/5.56x45.

I think the price went up on the 50 rnd boxes and not the 100 rounders yet. I also heard the 100 rounds boxes were not as good as what came in the 50 round boxes.

I checked again tonight at the Greenwood Walmart and saw that 9mm WWB was now $24/100 instead of $23. Federal .40 was $26/100. That is a pretty good price for .40.

Noticed bulk 22 prices up at wal mart in westfield last night, fed, rem, and win 550 and 555 packs were all 19.97 up a dollar from what they used to be, 18.96 Very good selection on most everything, no Tula .223 or 7.63 x 39. They had federal champion 9mm 100rd packs for 19.97.

Was at Meijer in Muncie today and prices have not been effected there yet!

Winchester .30-30 was $15.49 a box, Remington was about the same price.

From what I have been reading online and from talking to the owner of my local shop. Both .223 and 7.62x39 is getting harder to get and prices have gone up. Just the start the the pre-election panic buying. Panic buyers make me laugh.

I do not see myself as panic buying. I got a new rifle and am just stocking up on rounds for when I get to take it to the range for the first time!

I was not refering to you. I'm talking about the ones that already own said firearms, then wait until election time to freak out any pay jacked up prices.
