I was Browsing my local gun store will not name. and there where 3 Amish men looking at shotguns pumps and double barrels. they were fully Amish had the beards and all, i know and work with Amish and they aren't supposed to have guns because they can take lives there same reason they don't drive.
Today watching TV and the show Amish mafia previews come on "its probably fake" but it gets me thinking. Are Amish arming them self's too are they getting scared of whats to come?
Im just asking have anyone else seen Amish in gun stores lately/ever? And we really dont have Amish living around here. please be nice
This is EXACTLY the opposite of the Mennonites in northern MN. They ALL have deer rifles and 12g pumps. They LOVE porn and drink secretly.
I live about 15 miles south of an amish community at Milroy. We needed a buggy wheel worked on and went to the buggy shop to get new wood for the wheel. They ordered spokes from another amish business and done it over the internet, the computer was in a little 10 x 12 shed behind the buggy shop. When we drove home that day through the community we were surprised at how many sheds behind there businesses that had electric run to them and we assumed probably computers in them also.
While living in Fort Wayne, I had the opportunity of meeting an Amish family and the father had the handle of "Buggy Whipper" a really interesting man.
At their home, his wife introduced me to Bacon cooked Popcorn. She kept the Bacon rendering in a tin and melted a spoon into the popcorn pot to cook the corn. My G_D I was in Heaven when I first ate this Bacon Popcorn ..

Yes, that is correct. I used to work, some years ago, at a place where this ex-Amish lady worked, and she said that her family hunted all the time. Maybe some of the Amish don't own guns, but the ones around here seem to.I don't know of any amish rules that say they can't hunt. I've heard lots of stories of the amish having shotguns, over the years.
