The only time I want anything on the rear sight is when shooting in dark conditions. Otherwise it distracts my eye, and makes it harder to look past so that I can focus on the front sight. The Trijicon HD's are the perfect balance for me in that regard. The dots on the rear are hardly noticeable in the daylight, and the front sight is extremely visible in all conditions (especially the greenish yellow one). I'll also second what others have said in this thread, Trijicon fit and finish is top notch and a step above Ameriglo.

My favorite is actually Dawson sights. Their products are extremely nice. Their dovetail sights come slightly oversized and are "file to fit." They install VERY well. I just did another set of their sights on my PPQ this weekend.

Plus, they're all made in America. And their customer service is amazing. If they don't have what you want in stock, they'll produce another batch. I've also heard of them custom making some requests. Just a great American company all around.
