I love a shoulder holster in winter. Who’s with me?

I have always wanted a shoulder holster, but have never been able to find a rig that fit me well.

I've ****** away a bunch of money on different variants.

I keep kicking around the idea of getting one custom made, but have no leads on a good "tailor".

Its my favorite way to carry but I don't often do it because of sweeping on the draw, and you can't practice with it in a class. BUT if i am travelling, its my favorite carry for sitting in a car. Most comfortable, most balanced way for me.

When cocaine bears are afoot, I carry my .500 Magnum in a vertical shoulder holster !
Yes, winter carry is my favorite.

I was at a private range one day shooting steel at 50 with a 44mag.

A guy stepped up beside me and watched for a few rounds.

Then all the sudden I hear a BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM.

    About **** my pants!

He was shooting one of those (with a longer barrel if I recall correctly).

I thought the 44mag moved the steel pretty well. He made my 44mag look like a Daisy air gun! LOL

He was definitely good with it...

S&W 329PD for winter carry to defeat level 4 Carhartt's.

Loaded with 300 gr. Hornady so, it should do the trick. The blunt force trauma alone oughta change the bad guy's behavior.
The 329PD deters violence on both ends. So far as the bad guy is concerned, nobody wants to get shot with a .44 Mag. On the other hand, something has to absolutely positively need shooting to make it worth cranking a round off from that thing!
