Got rh whammer and trigger on there with e clips for now. Got the gas block drilled and pinned too. I'm completely frustrated by how the underfolder goes together. All I have to do is that and the front site.

I finally got that stuck pin out. No matter how many times I tried to press it, it just wasn't going to budge. It was bending my rods first.
I drilled it out, first with a 1/8 then a 5/32 and the used a steel punch from Menards and beat the crap out of it. It finally came out. I think the pin hole needs to be cleaned out but is definitely useable.
If this had been our plastic and aluminum princess, something would have bent when I took out big hammer. Love the AK because its fun to build and therapeutic to hammer when it won't budge.
any one know where i can find bullet guides for a milled m70/ m64 kit? i need two of them
I didn't get a chance to check it out when it was done, was that trigger worth the hassle/sore junk? How does it compare to a Tapco?
I'll get to find out how it shoots this morning. I don't think I can compare it to a Tapco. I thought my old trigger group WAS a Tapco for 922r compliance, but I guess it wasn't. Without having fired the gun, I can definitely say that the new trigger feels great. I'm hoping that all the slap will be gone when I go to fire it.I didn't get a chance to check it out when it was done, was that trigger worth the hassle/sore junk? How does it compare to a Tapco?
If they're anything like saiga 7.62 round trunion bullet guides, i had some with me that day and would have given them to you. Seriously though if they are the same i'll mail you one. It's too late for me to look it up and check.
Have you got a link? My search skills are sucking apparently because I can't find it on Sportsmans Guide...Sportsmans guide has the bulgarian kit that Clay and I put together at the last party on sale for 239$ I paid 340 for the same kit 2 months ago. Its a good deal at either price
The allen screws, right? That's what I was thinking. I forgot all about the loctite. I'll fiddle with the adjustment and if I get it working, then I'll loctite them. I still may post a pic to make sure the spring ends didn't wind up where they shouldn't be.We didn't loctite the screws as the trigger hadn't been adjusted. It was left at it's stock setting. I'm willing to bet some of the screws started to move changing the dynamics of the trigger.
