most of them are metal but this is the newer verison... this kit is a 1996 kit so its poly its all correct or a SAR 13in barrel so that explains the crazy barrel extension ..... but i may just switch out the poly stock for a metal one its just one screw to change it out

over the old style id have to agree with you the metal ones look alot better so it on my shopping list but i want the trulix scope first (hard to find one of the 5.56 ones)

Hope it is not a Century build. I had a Golani that I bought from MC Sports and it was total junk. If it is a kit built on an ORF receiver, make sure it is hardened up to spec or it could have some serious peening issues. Just a heads up. If it is a real deal Action Arms Galil then it will be GTG.
