So I've got a surplus of Berry's 125 gr flat nosed projectiles in .357, and I'd like to load them for my 9mm using 231 or Unique. All of the evidence I've seen on the internet says this should be fine, but there's a few warnings of possible pressure spikes. I searched, but didn't find a thread on INGO regarding the issue, so I figured I would start a discussion.
115 gr Berry's RN measures .356 in diamter and .554 in length.
125 gr Berry's FP measures .357 in diameter and .530 in length.
I plan on shooting these out of an M&P 9 FS or Shield 9mm.
EDIT: Both barrels slugged out to .357 at their widest point. Made a dummy round, it chambered and cycled just fine. Gonna load em up with 4.0 gr of Unique (only because I wanna use it up before I start using my keg of 231). I'll report back when I've shot a few.
