Anybody tried Trailboss with 300 blackout subs? Seen a load on Hogdons website for 6gr of Trailboss and 150gr bullet. I imagine these are super quiet suppressed.

I wouldn’t do it. There are much better powders than Trailboss and if you have some TB, hang onto it.
What powders do you recommend for 300 subs? I usually use 296 with good results. I seen the load for Trailboss and was curious. I figured it would be super quiet with speeds of approximately 800 fps.

I have used h110 (same as 296) with very good results but have been using cfe blk for the past year or two with very good results.

N110 is the quietest and cleanest powder I have ever used for subs followed by H110/296. I'd only use CFEblk or aa1680 if you need the extra gas to cycle, but they are both loud and dirty powders for subsonic.

I’m using IMR 4227, 10.5 grains with Sierra 220’s. Supposed to be 1044 fps, factory loads don’t have enough umph to cycle the bolt back and pick up the next round.

With 220 grain darts I used 1680 with good results.

Even tried Titegroup and it worked but I don’t recommend it. Too fast of burn to cycle and too much room for kaboom.
