Just found out about something new... to me anyway.
    Smoked chocolate chip cookies.
I bought the economy sized bag of choc chips (4.5lbs @ Costco) to make some cookies.
A friend asked if I planned to make smoked cookies.:n00b:
No, I do not. I suspect they'll be the same as smoked cheese. :puke:

We do these all the time as handouts at contests, they are a huge hit. We always just buy the frozen dough pucks in bulk at Sams club.

Kroger has been having some "deals" on pork and chicken.

Like buy one get 3 free on chicken, their quartered chicken for like 3 bucks, pork chops for okay-ish price... been stocking up a bit.

I have been making my own Charcoals. I have a fire bucket. Get a good rack of ash wood going. Dump coals into fire bucket. Place lid on fire bucket. lack of air equals charcoals. Store in waterproof barrel once Cool.

If I don’t get a chance to play with Fire I use kingsford bricks. For dutch oven use on baking i use kingsford. Consistent size and weight. Say 6 under to oven . and 9 on the lid. '

So I smoked eggs on the smoker for deviled eggs. The eggs themselves were delicious and easy but I messed up trying a new recipe for the yolks. Lesson learned, they were edible. Recipe just used too much ground mustard.

Smoked pork tenderloin smoked corn muffins and green beans with bacon.

Fired up the smoker to 225°. Took the tenderloin to 150° then put them in the cooler for 15ish minutes. Stoked the coals and brought the smoker to 425° and cooked the cornbread. Turned out pretty good for a PITA brinkmann cabinet smokerreceived_790326159417889.jpeg

I smoke eggs and use this recipe, but I top them with bacon and a slice of fresh jalapeno. I use wasabi paste. A little goes a LONG way.
