KellyInAvon, thank you again for doing this! The NRA-ILA lobbyist will be there to testify today as well. If I meet a GOA rep I’ll be sure and introduce myself.

Excellent question Nick. The pro HB 1369 Sheriffs were speaking as the Sheriff of their County. Indiana Sheriff's Association is officially neutral. Police Chiefs are appointed and the antis were from where you'd expect.I asked this in another thread before I saw this one. I watched for about an hour when I got home and I have a question. It seems the state police chiefs assoc and the indiana fop both oppose the bill but I saw several sheriffs speak in support. Why the disconnect between local and county agencies? Are Sheriff's deputies not members of the fop?
I loved it when Jim Lucas had to ask one LEO to clarify if he did or did not support the bill. Luckily he did.Excellent question Nick. I'll get my notes plugged in tomorrow evening. It was after 2000 before I got home.
I can't say it enough, we outnumbered the antis!!
Appreciated. Also appreciated your comments to the committee and you taking the time to be there. I've really been trying to be more active in contacting my legislators and giving as I can to 2A groups this year.Excellent question Nick.
