Those of us that went through all that, (without throwing tantrums, ) should we keep this turned on or turn it off?

For Information Only - TexKev, when I sent an e-mail, it was Responded to and Assistance Offered & Timely Given - Stand Up and Credible Response - Thank You SirI'd sent a mod a message via outside INGO channels and told them I'd be locked out and to just ban or delete my account so it wasn't used as a scam. I don't use the email address I used when I signed up here any longer and I'm not downloading an app. If you turn on 2 factor, just ban me.
To combat scammers why not just require:
A photo of the actual item along with a handwritten note containing "INGO / DATE / USER NAME" on it.
Recommend everyone contact my voice call before agreeing to mail something or to do in person transactions.
After that, it's on the buyer. That's what the car related classifieds I've been involved in have done.
It will every 30 days. Other sites like banks will also require a code entry if you are using your phone and the bank detects an attempted access in a different location than usualI did. But it did not prompt me this morning.
Do this! You may think you are the most careful person in the world, and find that your info is on the darkweb.check if you have been involved in a breach https://haveibeenpwned.com/
Turned on. Use MFA whenever you can. Passwords get stolen/cracked all the time. I get a list from the dark web emailed to my team every day when the service finds new breaches. Any email addresses associated with my domains are sent so we can change passwords. I get a minimum of 5 users a day out of 2,000 accounts that were found in a breach, list of passwords for sale, etc.OK then.
